FIRST JOB

My first job was at a small family bookstore in Waitsfield, VT. If I weren’t an accountant, I’d love to own a bookshop in a charming resort town where vacationers are always on the lookout for their next favorite read.

VOLUNTEER WORK

Katrina is a member and past co-leader of the Portsmouth, NH chapter of the Women’s Business League, serves as Treasurer for the non-profit Soul Models, and sits on the committee for CelebrateHER through the Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce as well as being active in the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. Furthering women in business is a passion of Katrina’s.

EDUCATION

Katrina is a double Falcon, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Accounting Information Systems from Bentley University.

EXPERIENCE

Katrina has been licensed as a certified public accountant since 2009. After experiencing her husband’s IRS audit, Katrina decided to use her accounting degree to become a CPA to help individuals and small business owners understand how their taxes affect them at all times. Katrina loves helping individuals looking for more than just a tax preparer. Whether you’re starting a family, launching a business, or preparing for retirement, she’s here to provide thoughtful guidance every step of the way.

FAVORITE BOOKS

Honestly, I’m always looking for the next good read, but some of my all-time favorites are A Love Story by Erich Segal, Cider House Rules by John Irving, and Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden.

EDUCATION

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Taxation from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University.

Emily has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1999. She brings over 25 years of public accounting experience to the firm, providing tax and accounting services to small businesses and management advisory services to various industries, including contractors, hospitality, and real estate development.

FUN FACT

I was born on my mother’s 24th birthday. I’d say I was the best gift she ever received, but my two brothers may disagree.
